At Metro NZ we believe businesses have certain responsibilities - we take our responsibilities seriously. This means we follow the spirit and the letter of all regulations, codes of practice and guidelines that affect our industry. Plus we take a proactive role in making the industry better, both for investors and tenants. This involves exceeding common standards of customer care and taking an active role in trade associations and industry bodies.

An important aspect of doing business at Metro NZ is giving back to the community. Frank Rangi, our Managing Director, has a passion for the homeless and for those who do not have regular meals.

Love Soup is Metro NZ's chosen charity with a percentage of the company's income going to this worthy cause. Love Soup is committed to fulfill a niche in communities through North Island New Zealand to provide free and nutritious meals to people who are hungry or in need. Metro and Love Soup are not only feeding people in hungry, they are also feeding them in mind, body and spirit. Support with the preparation of meals every Sunday on the Hibiscus Coast and once a month at the City Mission is also part of Metro's commitment to giving back. By choosing Metro NZ to manage your rental property, you are also giving back to the community.

We are grateful to our amazing team for planning this successful event and to all those who attended our inaugural Metro NZ Annual Long Lunch at Chapel Bistro in Ponsonby to support Love Soup where all proceeds will go to Love Soup.

Giving back in order to support communities and organizations is also an essential part of our business. Giving back activities not only assist the charity organization, but also develops our company to be responsible in the community and inspires our staff to feel and perform better.

We are proud to be part of the journey.
